After bypassing Oruro we take highway 6 through the high mountains all the way to Sucre - the historical capital of Bolivia - where we spend just one afternoon before heading west to Potosí - a city we already visited 21 years ago on our Kumuka trip. Although it has changed it is still a lovely historical place with lots of things to see.
