After leaving Caleta Tumbes we continue north through the hilly inland region to our next destination - Cobquecura. Cobquecura has not only a fantastic beach - it is also famous for its loberia. More than 3000 sea lions are occupying the three little islands just off the beach. Just north of the small town is another attraction - the Iglesia de Piedra - a giant stone cathedral.
