After more than a month on the coast of Chile it is cool enough in the interior of the country to explore the many volcanoes. Near Chillán we take a look at the Cascadas Las Turbinas before heading out to the Chillán volcano to do a streniuous late afternoon hike to the fumeroles. Afterwards we head south towards the Laguna del Laja National Park to take a look at the Antuco and Sierra Velluda volcanoes followed by another side trip into a beautiful valley to the town of Ralco and the National Reserve with the smoking Callaqui volcano.
