We are off to a new adventure! During the next 5 weeks we are going to explore the Guyanas, the 3 Northeastern countries of South America and parts of the Caribbean. But we are not taking our motorhome up there. You can only get to these 3 countries via Venezuela or via Brasil on very doggy roads that are certainly not suitable for Winnietwo.
So in October 2024 we sat down to plan our route and book all flights and accommodations in advance. The other option would have been to go on an organized tour but it would have cost us a lot more plus we would have raced from one place to the next in 2 weeks rather than 5 with a lot of driving in vehicles and only a couple of hours in each attraction. No, thank you!
The first part of the trip takes us on two flights from Santiago de Chile to Belem and on another one the next morning straight to Cayenne - the capital of French Guiana where we spend 3 nights during the carnival season.
