We have less than 2 weeks to get Winnietwo to Piriapolis for storage and so we choose the most direct route across Argentina. From Carril we drive south through the amazing Quebrada de las Conchas. South of Cafayate we leave the Ruta 40 and go all the way across the mountains to Tafi Del Valle and then further southeast to Uruguay.
